StockEagle Permanently shrink Database        prev.jpg (821 bytes)   next.jpg (821 bytes)

This function is contained in the Filter box.

StockEagle is maintaining daily data with many fundamentals and moving averages for each of the
main 5000+ stocks on the main exchanges: NASDAQ/NYSE/AMEX.
As you can imagine this is a lot of work, because prices change daily, new stocks appear(IPO),
ticker symbols change and stocks split and completely change they price levels.
From a database management point of view stocks are like a pack of flees.

Many customers are only focused on the NASDAQ stocks and therefore
StockEagle’s efforts to keep also the NYSE/AMEX stocks up to date are not necessary!
This "Permanently shrink Database" function will simply cut out all the unwanted stocks
from the main database using, leaving only the ones you specify in the filter
before you press the "Permanently shrink Database" button.

NOTE:
Once this the superfluous stock symbols are eliminated you cannot restore these symbols.
(Download the full StockEagle package again to get all the symbols back, if you made a mistake)
