StockEagle is using a database which contains all the neccessary information to
calculate
the parameters for all the different studies.
This function will show you what StockEagle has stored in its stock
database for a stock symbol.
Stock Database Statistics
Initially StockEagle will display general statistics about the database (see Database for details):
The first section shows you how many stocks are currently stored in the current
symbol list the scanner is using (MAIN.TXT): 969
The 2nd section shows you how many stocks are contained in the main database
(MAIN.DAT): 6804
Some of those might be not active any more (1146 defunct=not traded any more) or
deleted (985) when there is no information available on the server any more.
The 3rd section shows you how many stocks are in the secondary database: PERM.DAT
29027,
which is used during the IPO scan to skip quickly uninteresting stocks instead of
reexamining each time new.
