Almost every day some stocks change their ticker symbol.
This function will change the main database reference to the new symbol.
Note that you will have to rerun the Filter in order to include again the new ticker symbol
in your stock watch list (MOVE.TXT).

At the end of this process StockEagle will offer you the choice to view the list of Symbol Changes processed
(excatly like the "View Symbol Change log" function).
This function is part of the automatic daily closing process.

Here is an example of 3 symbol changes reported on June 24th, 1999:
 

In the first column you see the date(19980624).
Then the new ticker symbol (FTIC) and the previous one (FTICD)
This information is stored in the SYMCHG.TXT file in the current \Eagle directory.
