StockEagle does not start automatically the stock scanning.
This "Start Scan" button will initiate the scanning of all the symbols found in the "main.txt" stock symbol list,
which is automatically created by the filter function or can be supplied by you for a custom symbol selection.

StocKEagle is designed to analyze each single tick of all the 5,000+ stocks on NASDAQ and NYSE/AMEX.
StocKEagle uses a preselected Database of around 6000 stocks with a minium price of $5 and above.
With the Filter function you can customize further the basic selection of Stocks to scan.
The "Start Scan" button will activate the current list of your custom stock selection
in increments of 500 stocks (Part1=1 to 500, Part2=501 to 1000...).
Once the scan is activated the button text will change to "Stop Scan".

If you click "Stop Scan" StocKEagle will stop the scan and wait for a new scan activation
and change the button text again to "Start Scan".

If you have a specialized list of stocks you want to watch replace the MAIN.TXT file
with your specialized stock selection (One stock symbol per line) and don’t run the Filter
function, which will regenerate MAIN.TXT and override the previous content.

If you Hide the StocKEagle View and come back the scan will still be active
and you will see the message "Scanning xxx Stocks".

If you open StocKEagle without any watch activated you will see the message "Watch idle - press Start"
