Diamond Backtesting (BTWFMgr) Trading Events
(Professional Software Solutions)

The "Diamond Backtesting with Walk Forward Manager (BTWFMgr)" is collecting from the chart
during the backtest/optimization run all the trading events (buy/sells at various bars and startegy permutations).
These Trading Events are saves into the XXX.btwf2 file, you can see it actually growing in realtime.
When BTWFMgr first opens the new data - it converts these raw "Trading Events to the more compact and usefull
Positions for each Trade Permutation and stores the result in the XXX.btwf3 data file.
Once the btwf3 file has been generated - then btwf2 file is no more used and could be removed if you are running out of space.

In some cases it can be very usefull to view the actual trading events instead of the higher level positions and various equity graphs.
BTWFMgr allows you to simply "drag-anbd-drop" the btwf2 file into the current BTWFMgr window:

Select "6. Open as Trade Event List" from the new prompt.
After a view seconds the new BTWFMgr window will appear - showing the first 1000 trading events:

You can export the list also to a spreadsheet:
right click on the event branch and select "Export Trading Events":

Confirm the viewing in your spreadsheet program (excel):

and the trade event matrix appears:

You can also open it manually from the newly created CSV file XXX-Evt.CSV.

The default limit is set to 100,000 events being loaded in this view,
but you can extend it in the BTWFMgr.ini file:
[BTWFMGR]
EvtViewMax=100000

You can also open a btwf2 file using the windows "Open with" feature and using the "C:/BTWFMgr/BTWFEvt.exe" program to open:
1. right click on the btwf2 file and select "Open with":
2. Click on Browse and navigate to "C:/BTWFMgr/BTWFEvt.exe"
3. Click on OK and the trading event view appears.
